ﲶ ﲷ ﲸ ﲹ ﲺ ﲻ ﲼ ﲽ ﲾ ﲿ ﳀ ﳁ ﳂ ﳃ ﳄ ﳅ ﳆ ﳇ ﳈ ﳉ ﳊ ﳋ ﳌ ﳍ ﳎ
But if they do not respond to you - then know that they only follow their [own] desires. And who is more astray than one who follows his desire without guidance from Allah? Indeed, Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.
Tafsir
Verse range: 28:50
فٳن لم يستجيبوا لك
But if they answer you not, means, `if they do not respond to what you tell them, and do not follow the truth,'
فاعلم أنما يتبعون أهواءهم
then know that they only follow their own lusts. means, with no basis or evidence.
ومن أضل ممن اتبع هواه بغير هدى من الله
And who is more astray than one who follows his own lusts, without guidance from Allah, means, with no guidance taken from the Book of Allah.
إن الله ﻻ يهدي القوم الظالمين
Verily, Allah guides not the people who are wrongdoers
