Tafsir of Al Imran 3:148

فاتاهم الله ثواب الدنيا

So Allah gave them the reward of this world, victory, triumph and the good end.

وحسن ثواب اﻻخرة

and the excellent reward of the Hereafter. added to the gains in this life.

والله يحب المحسنين

And Allah loves the good-doers
