Tafsir of Al-Lail 92:1

Swearing by the Diversity of Mankind in Their Efforts and informing of the Different Results of that Allah swears by saying:

والليل إذا يغشى

By the night as it envelops. meaning, when it covers the creation with its darkness

والنهار إذا تجلى
