Surah Al-Qari'ah (The Calamity): Verse 11

{نَارٌ حَامِيَةٌ} (A Fire intensely hot)

Then the Almighty said: {نَارٌ حَامِيَةٌ} (A Fire intensely hot).

The meaning is that all other fires, in comparison to this Fire, seem as if they are not hot at all. This statement is sufficient to indicate the intensity of its heat.

We seek refuge in Allah from it and from all types of torment, and we ask Him for success and a good final destination: {رَبَّنَا وَآتِنَا مَا وَعَدْتَنَا عَلَى رُسُلِكَ وَلَا تُخْزِنَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ} (Our Lord, and give us what You promised us through Your messengers. And do not disgrace us on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed, You do not fail in [keeping] Your promise).
