The term 'Aishah (عيشة) is a maṣdar (verbal noun) meaning 'living' or 'livelihood,' similar to how khīfah (خيفة) means 'fear' (from khawf).
As for Rāḍiyah (راضية - pleasing/satisfying), Al-Zajjāj said it means a livelihood that possesses satisfaction, meaning the owner is pleased with it. This is analogous to saying someone is ibn (ابن - possessor of sons) or tāmir (تامر - possessor of dates), which means having sons or having dates. For this reason, the exegetes explained its meaning as marḍiyyah (مرضية - satisfactory/approved), signifying a life that its owner is pleased with.
