Surah Ar-Ra'd (The Thunder): Verse 40

{And whether We show you some of what We promise them, or cause you to die before it, [it is no matter to you]}

Know that the meaning is: {And whether We show you some of what We promise them} of punishment, {or cause you to die before it}, the meaning is: Whether We show you that [punishment] or take your soul before its appearance, it is obligatory upon you to convey the rulings of Allah the Exalted, fulfill your trust, and deliver the message. And the reckoning is upon Us. Al-Balāgh (the conveyance) is a noun used in place of the verbal noun at-tablīgh (the act of conveying), similar to how as-sirāj (the lamp) is used.

{Have they not seen that We are approaching the land, diminishing it from its extremities? And Allah judges; there is no repeller of His judgment. And He is swift in account.}

{And those before them had plotted, but all plotting is for Allah. He knows what every soul earns, and the disbelievers will know to whom belongs the [best] outcome of the abode.}
