Surah An-Nahl (The Bee): Verse 29

{فادخلوا أبواب جهنم} (So enter the gates of Hell,)

This indicates a difference in the levels of their punishment, meaning the punishment of some will be greater than the punishment of others. Allah the Exalted only explicitly mentioned eternity (in the previous verse) so that their grief and sorrow would be greater.

{فلبئس مثوى المتكبرين} (an evil dwelling for the arrogant.)

This refers to their arrogance in accepting monotheism (Tawhid) and everything else brought by the Prophets. The explanation of arrogance has been mentioned several times in this book. And Allah knows best.

Verses 30–32

{وقيل للذين اتقوا ماذا أنزل ربكم قالوا خيرا للذين أحسنوا فى هاذه الدنيا حسنة ولدار الا خرة خير ولنعم دار المتقين * جنات عدن يدخلونها تجرى من تحتها الأنهار لهم فيها ما يشآءون كذلك يجزى الله المتقين * الذين تتوفاهم الملائكة طيبين يقولون سلام عليكم ادخلوا الجنة بما كنتم تعملون}

**(And it will be said to those who feared Allah, "What did your Lord send down?" They will say, "Goodness." For those who did good in this world is good, and the Home of the Hereafter is better. And excellent is the Home of the righteous—Gardens of Eternity, which they will enter, beneath which rivers flow. They will have therein whatever they wish. Thus does Allah reward the righteous—Those whom the angels take in death, [while they are] pure, saying, "Peace be upon you. Enter Paradise because of what you used to do.")
