Al-Ahzab (The Confederates): Verse 34

**{And remember what is recited in your houses of the verses of Allah and the wisdom.}**

This means: Remember what is recited in your homes of the verses of Allah (i.e., the Qur'an) and the wisdom.

The "wisdom" refers to the sayings of the Prophet (peace be upon him). This is an indication, as we have previously mentioned, that the religious obligations are not limited to Prayer (Salat) and Alms (Zakat).

Allah mentioned this in the verse: {And remember what is recited} so that they may know all the obligatory duties and perform them, and all the forbidden things and abstain from them.

**{Indeed, Allah was ever Subtle and Acquainted [with everything].}**

This is an indication that He is knowledgeable of the inner states (the hidden intentions). He is Al-Latif (The Subtle), whose knowledge reaches everything. Al-Latif is He who can enter the narrow pores and exit through blocked passages.

**{Indeed, the Muslim men and Muslim women, the believing men and believing women, the obedient men and obedient women, the truthful men and truthful women, the patient men and patient women, the humble men and humble women, the charitable men and charitable women, the fasting men and fasting women, the men who guard their private parts and the women who do so, and the men who remember Allah often and the women who do so—Allah has prepared for them forgiveness and a great reward.}**
