Meaning: When you remember Him, your remembrance of Him should be in a manner of glorification and purification (Tasbīh) from every defect. This is what is intended by *Tasbīh*. It is also said that *Tasbīh* here means the Prayer (*Salāh*), and it is said that the Prayer is His glorification (*Tasbīhuhu*). **"In the early morning (*bukratan*) and in the evening (*aṣīlan*)"** is an indication of persistence and continuity. This is because when one intends generality (universality), they might mention the two extremes (morning and evening), and the middle is understood from them, like the Prophet's saying: "If the first of you and the last of you [were to gather]..."—where he did not mention those in the middle—implying exaggeration in generality.

**He it is Who sends blessings upon you, and His angels [also pray for you], that He may bring you forth from darknesses into the Light. And He is ever, to the believers, Merciful.**
