And for them therein are [other] benefits and drinks, so will they not be grateful?

And for them therein are [other] benefits and drinks, so will they not be grateful?
Tafsir
Verse range: 36:73
Then, the Almighty explained the benefits other than riding and eating by His saying:
{And for them therein are benefits and drinks}
This is because some animals cannot be ridden, such as sheep. Thus, the word "benefits" (منافع) is used to be comprehensive.
Similarly, "drinks" (مشارب) is general:
Then the Almighty said:
{Will they not then be grateful?}
These are blessings that necessitate worship and gratitude. If you are grateful, He will surely increase you of His bounty, and if you are ungrateful, He will surely strip them away from you. So, what is your response? Will you not be grateful for their continuation and for seeking an increase in them?
Then the Almighty said:
**{And for them therein are benefits and drinks. Will they not then be grateful?}**
(The text repeats the previous section here.)
Then the Almighty said:
**{And they have taken besides Allah other deities, perhaps they will be helped.}**
