ﲛ ﲜ ﲝ ﲞ ﲟ ﲠ ﲡ ﲢ ﲣ
And whoever has not believed in Allah and His Messenger - then indeed, We have prepared for the disbelievers a Blaze.
ﲛ ﲜ ﲝ ﲞ ﲟ ﲠ ﲡ ﲢ ﲣ
And whoever has not believed in Allah and His Messenger - then indeed, We have prepared for the disbelievers a Blaze.
Tafsir
Verse range: 48:13
Regarding our previous statement concerning: {And you thought an evil thought} (Al-Fath: 12), [this verse implies] another type of assumption different from what was mentioned in {Nay, you thought an evil thought}.
This is because we explained that this assumption was their belief that Allah would break His promise, or their assumption that the Messenger was a liar.
Therefore, [Allah says]: {And whoever does not believe in Allah and His Messenger}—meaning, whoever assumes Allah will break His promise and the Messenger is a liar—{then indeed, We have prepared for him a fierce Fire}.
And the use of {for the disbelievers} instead of saying, "then indeed, We have prepared for him," carries a benefit, which is generalization. It is as if Allah Almighty said: Whoever does not believe in Allah is among the disbelievers, and We have prepared a fierce Fire for the disbelievers.
{And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. He forgives whom He wills and punishes whom He wills. And Allah is ever, Forgiving and Merciful.}
