Al-Ma'idah (5): 56 - And whoever takes Allah...

The relative pronoun (al-'a'id) is omitted because it is understood. The implied meaning is: "Indeed, the Party of Allah—they are victorious (ghalib) because they are among the Army and Supporters of Allah."

Verse 57: O you who have believed, do not take those who have taken your religion in ridicule and amusement from among those who were given the Scripture before you, nor the disbelievers, as allies. And fear Allah, if you should be believers.
