Surah Adh-Dhariyat (The Winnowing Winds): Verse 10
Original Text Segment:
وهذا يدل على أن المراد من قوله : { لفى قول مختلف } ( الذاريات : 8 ) أنهم غير ثابتين على أمر وغير جازمين بل هم يظنون ويخرصون ، ومعناه لعن الخراصون دعاء عليهم بمكروه . ثم وصفهم فقال : ! 7 < { الذين هم فى غمرة ساهون } . > 7 !
Translation:
This indicates that what is meant by His saying: {In a divergent discourse} (Adh-Dhariyat: 8) is that they are not steadfast in any matter, nor are they decisive; rather, they conjecture and guess (or utter falsehoods).
The meaning of "Cursed are the guessers/liars" (قتل الخراصون) is a supplication against them, invoking harm upon them.
Then, He described them, saying:
**{Those who are heedless in deep confusion/immersion.}** (Q. 51:11)
