Surah At-Tur (The Mount): Verse 33

Am yaqūlūna taqawwalahu... (Or do they say, "He has fabricated it"...?)

This verse is connected to the preceding verse: {Am yaqūlūna shā'irun ntarabbasu bihi} (Or do they say, "He is a poet, and we await some misfortune to befall him"? - Surah At-Tur: 30).

The implied structure, based on what was previously mentioned, is:

"Do you say [he is] a soothsayer, or do you say he is a poet, or do you say [he has] fabricated it?"

{Fa-liya'tū bi-hadīthin mithlihi in kānū ṣādiqīn} (Then let them produce a discourse like it, if they are truthful.)
