Tafsir of Al-Muddathir 74:18

Al-Muddaththir: (18) Indeed, he thought and he plotted.

It is said: Fakkara fi al-amr (he thought about the matter) and tafakkara (he contemplated) when he looked into it and reflected upon it.

Then, after he contemplated, he arranged words in his heart and prepared them; this is what is meant by His saying: {then he plotted} (fa-qaddara).
