Surah Al-Muddathir 74:20
ﱅ ﱆ ﱇ ﱈ
Then may he be destroyed [for] how he deliberated.

ثم قتل كيف . . . . . والمقصود من كلمه ، ثم ههنا الدلالة على أن الدعاء عليه في الكرة الثانية أبلغ من الأولى . ثم قال : ! 7 < { ثم نظر } . > 7 !
Translation:
Then he was killed, how...
The purpose of using the word thumma (then) here is to indicate that the curse/supplication against him in the second instance is more emphatic (or severe) than in the first.
