**{Nay}** (Kallā) - This is a rejection of their desire and a reprimand against their demanding of further signs.

Then the Almighty said: **{Nay, but they do not fear the Hereafter}** (Bal lā yakhāfūna al-ākhirah). This is why they turned away from reflection. Since numerous miracles have already occurred, they suffice to prove the truth of prophethood; therefore, demanding more is an act of obstinacy.

Then the Almighty said:

**! 7 < {Nay, it is truly a reminder * So whoever wills, will remember it } > 7 !** <
