Tafsir of An-Nazi'at 79:26

Surah An-Nazi'at: (26) Indeed, in that...

Then, the Almighty concluded this story by saying: {Indeed, in that is a lesson for those who fear} (An-Nazi'at: 26).

The meaning is that what We have recounted concerning the affair of Moses and Pharaoh—the disgrace that God inflicted upon Pharaoh, and the elevation and victory granted to Moses—is a lesson for those who fear.

This fear entails abandoning rebellion against God Almighty and rejecting His prophets, out of fear that what befell Pharaoh might befall them, and with the knowledge that God Almighty always supports His prophets and messengers.

Therefore, O assembly of those who deny Muhammad, take heed from what We have mentioned! Know that if you share with them (Pharaoh and his people) the very essence that invites punishment, you will share with them in the infliction of that punishment upon yourselves.
