Surah Al-Inshiqaq (The Sundering): (15) Nay, verily, his Lord...

Then the Almighty said: **{Nay (Balā)}**—meaning, He will surely resurrect him.
According to the second interpretation, the meaning is that Allah Almighty will replace his joy with unending sorrow and his blessings with continuous, inescapable affliction.
As for His statement: **{Verily, his Lord was *All-Seeing (Baṣīrā)}**—Al-Kalbī said: He was All-Seeing concerning him from the day He created him until He resurrected him. ‘Aṭā’ said: He was All-Seeing regarding what was decreed for him in the Preserved Tablet (Umm al-Kitāb) concerning his misery. Muqātil said: He was All-Seeing as to *when* He would resurrect him. Al-Zajjāj said: He knew that his return would be to Him.
These sayings are of no benefit. The benefit lies only in two interpretations mentioned by Al-Qaffāl: 1. That his Lord knew that He would recompense him. 2. That his Lord knew the disbelief and disobedience he was committing, so it was not permissible according to His wisdom to neglect him without punishing him for his evil deeds. This serves as a warning to all accountable persons against all sins.

**{So I swear by the twilight, * {And by the night and what it gathers, * {And by the moon when it becomes full, * {That you shall surely travel from stage to stage. * {Then what is the matter with them that they do not believe?}**
