Surah Al-Burooj 85:11
ﲎ ﲏ ﲐ ﲑ ﲒ ﲓ ﲔ ﲕ ﲖ ﲗ ﲘ ﲙ ﲚ ﲛ ﲜ
Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great attainment.

Surah Al-Buruj (The Constellations): (11) Indeed, those who believed...
It is known that when the Almighty mentioned the warning for the criminals, He then mentioned the promise for the believers, which is clear.
There are two issues concerning this verse:
Issue 1: Why did He say, "That is the great attainment" (ذالك الفوز) and not "That is the great reward" (تلك الدقيقة)?
This is a subtle point:
- The word "That" (ذالك) refers to Allah's declaration that these Gardens (of Paradise) will be attained.
- The word "Those" (تلك) refers to the Gardens themselves.
Allah's declaration about this attainment indicates His pleasure (رضا). The Great Attainment (الفوز الكبير) is actually the pleasure of Allah, not merely the attainment of Paradise.
Issue 2: The story of the People of the Ditch (Ashab al-Ukhdud)
This story, especially this verse, indicates that when someone is coerced into disbelief under the threat of great destruction, the primary course of action for them is to endure what they are threatened with. Expressing a word of disbelief in such a situation is considered a concession (رخصة).
It is narrated from Al-Hasan that Musaylimah captured two companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him). He asked one of them: "Do you testify that I am the Messenger of Allah?" He replied: "Yes," and Musaylimah let him go. He asked the other the same question, and he replied: "No, rather you are a liar," so Musaylimah killed him. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
"As for the one who was spared, he took the concession, and there is no blame upon him. As for the one who was killed, he took the superior path (فضل), so congratulations to him!"
