Tafsir of Yunus 10:101

{Say, "Observe what..."}

{...is in the heavens and the earth} of signs and lessons.

{But neither signs nor warners}—meaning the messengers who warn, or the warnings themselves—{avail a people who do not believe}—those whose belief is not expected, and they are the ones who do not reason.

Note: It is also recited as "yughni" (with a ya), and "ma" (what) is either a negation or an interrogative.

{Do they await anything except the like of the days of those who passed away before them? Say, "Then wait; indeed, I am with you among the waiters." Then We will save Our messengers and those who have believed. Thus, it is an obligation upon Us to save the believers.}
