Tafsir of Yunus 10:17

{Who is more unjust than he who invents a lie against Allah?}

It is possible that he intends the fabrication of the polytheists against Allah in their claim that He has a partner and a child, or that it is a refutation of the fabrication they have attributed to Him.

{And they worship other than Allah that which neither harms them nor benefits them, and they say, "These are our intercessors with Allah." Say, "Do you inform Allah of something He does not know in the heavens or on the earth?" Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him.}
