Surah Yunus: (7)

{Those who do not expect to meet Us} They do not anticipate it at all, nor does it cross their minds due to the heedlessness that has overcome them—a heedlessness that distracts them with pleasures and the love of the immediate world, preventing them from perceiving the ultimate truths. Alternatively, it means they do not hope for a good meeting with Us as the fortunate ones do, or they do not fear the evil of meeting Us, which is something that must be feared.

{And are satisfied with the worldly life} Instead of the Hereafter, preferring the little that is perishable over the much that is everlasting, as in His saying: "O you who have believed, what is [the matter] with you..." (At-Tawbah: 38).

{And are at rest therein} They have settled into it with the tranquility of one who does not expect to be disturbed or removed from it; thus, they build firmly and harbor long-term hopes.

(9-10)

{Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds, their Lord will guide them because of their faith. Beneath them rivers will flow in the Gardens of Pleasure. Their call therein will be, "Exalted are You, O Allah," and their greeting therein will be, "Peace." And the last of their call will be, "Praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds."}
