And be patient, for indeed, Allah does not allow to be lost the reward of those who do good.
Tafsir
Verse range: 11:115
"And be patient, for indeed Allah..."
Then, He returns to the reminder of patience after having presented what serves as the conclusion to the reminder. This return is due to the excellence, specialty, and merit of patience, and to alert one to its status and place. It is as if He said: "You must adhere to that which is more important than what I have reminded you of, and more deserving of being enjoined, which is patience in complying with what you have been commanded and refraining from what you have been forbidden. For nothing of this can be completed except through it."
"For indeed, Allah does not allow the reward of the doers of good to be lost."
He brought this [phrase] as something encompassing steadfastness, the establishment of prayers, refraining from tyranny, avoiding inclination toward the wrongdoers, patience, and other good deeds.
"So why were there not among the generations before you those of discrimination, forbidding corruption upon the earth—except a few of those We saved from among them? But those who did wrong pursued what they were given of luxury, and they were criminals."
