Tafsir of Hud 11:76

{O Abraham, turn away from this} It is based on the implication of a speech, meaning: The angels said to him, "Turn away from this argumentation." Even if mercy is your habit, there is no benefit in it.

{Indeed, the command of your Lord has come} It is His decree and judgment, which issues forth only from correctness and wisdom. The punishment is descending upon the people inevitably; it cannot be turned back by argumentation, supplication, or anything else.

{And when Our messengers came to Lot, he was distressed for them and felt constrained for them, and said, "This is a difficult day."}
