Tafsir of Yusuf 12:107

Surah Yusuf 12:107

ﱡ ﱢ ﱣ ﱤ ﱥ ﱦ ﱧ ﱨ ﱩ ﱪ ﱫ ﱬ ﱭ ﱮ

Then do they feel secure that there will not come to them an overwhelming [aspect] of the punishment of Allah or that the Hour will not come upon them suddenly while they do not perceive?

Yusuf: (107) "Do they then feel secure that there will come to them..."

{ A covering (ghāshiyah) } A vengeance that covers them. It is also said: That which overwhelms them of punishment and envelops them. It is also said: The thunderbolts.

(108) "Say, 'This is my way; I invite to Allah with insight, I and those who follow me. And exalted is Allah; and I am not of those who associate others with Him.'"
