Tafsir of Yusuf 12:57

{And the reward of the Hereafter is better} for them.

Sufyan ibn ‘Uyaynah said: "The believer is rewarded for his good deeds in this world and the Hereafter, while the wicked person is granted his good [reward] quickly in this world, and he has no share in the Hereafter." He then recited this verse.

{And the brothers of Yusuf came, and they entered upon him, and he recognized them, while they were to him strangers.}
