Tafsir
Verse range: 13:15
{And to Allah prostrates whoever...}
{And to Allah prostrates}: Meaning, they are compelled to submit to the manifestation of what He has willed for them regarding His actions, whether they wish it or refuse. They are unable to resist Him.
{Their shadows} also submit to Him, as they behave according to His will in their extension, contraction, appearance, and disappearance.
It is also recited: (bi-l-ghudūwi wa-l-īṣāl)—derived from āṣalū, meaning: when they enter the time of aṣīl (late afternoon).
{Say: "Who is the Lord of the heavens and the earth?" Say: "Allah." Say: "Have you then taken besides Him allies who possess not for themselves any benefit or harm?" Say: "Is the blind equal to the seeing? Or are darkness and light equal? Or have they attributed to Allah partners who created like His creation so that the creation seemed alike to them?" Say: "Allah is the Creator of all things, and He is the One, the Prevailing."}
