ﱷ ﱸ ﱹ ﱺ ﱻ ﱼ ﱽ ﱾ ﱿ ﲀ ﲁ ﲂ ﲃ ﲄ ﲅ ﲆ ﲇ ﲈ ﲉ ﲊ ﲋ
And thus We have revealed it as an Arabic legislation. And if you should follow their inclinations after what has come to you of knowledge, you would not have against Allah any ally or any protector.
ﱷ ﱸ ﱹ ﱺ ﱻ ﱼ ﱽ ﱾ ﱿ ﲀ ﲁ ﲂ ﲃ ﲄ ﲅ ﲆ ﲇ ﲈ ﲉ ﲊ ﲋ

Tafsir
Verse range: 13:37
{And thus We have revealed it} Just as We revealed that, We revealed it containing commands to worship Allah, to profess His Oneness, to call to Him and His religion, and to warn of the Abode of Recompense.
{a judgment in Arabic} An Arabic wisdom, translated into the tongue of the Arabs. Its grammatical state (naṣb) is as a circumstantial qualifier (ḥāl).
They used to invite the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) to matters they wanted him to agree to, among them that he should pray toward their qibla after Allah had turned him away from it. So it was said to him: If you were to follow their religion—which is nothing but whims and doubts—after knowledge has been established for you through proofs and decisive arguments, Allah would abandon you, so no helper would aid you, and He would destroy you, so no protector would shield you from Him.
This is a form of incitement and provocation, intended to urge the listeners to remain steadfast in the religion and to be firm in it, and that no one should falter due to doubt after having grasped the proof. Otherwise, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was of the highest degree of resolve.
{And We have already sent messengers before you and assigned to them wives and descendants. And it was not for a messenger to bring a sign except by permission of Allah. For every term is a record. Allah eliminates what He wills or confirms, and with Him is the Mother of the Book.}
