Tafsir of An-Nahl 16:60

{The attribute of evil} The attribute of evil is the need for male children, the hatred of females, the burying of them alive for fear of poverty, and their admission of extreme stinginess regarding themselves.

{And for Allah is the highest attribute} He is the One free from the needs of the worlds, transcendent above the attributes of created beings, and He is the Generous, the Bountiful.

{And if Allah were to impose blame on the people for their wrongdoing, He would not have left upon the earth any creature, but He defers them until a specified term. And when their term has come, they will not remain behind an hour, nor will they precede [it].}
