Al-Kahf: 46

{And the enduring good deeds} These are the acts of righteousness whose fruit remains for the human being, while everything his soul aspires to regarding worldly fortunes perishes away from him.

It is said: They are the five daily prayers. It is also said: They are "Subhan Allah, wal-hamdu lillah, wa la ilaha illa Allah, wa Allahu Akbar" (Glory be to Allah, praise be to Allah, there is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest).

Qatadah said: They are everything intended for the sake of Allah.

{Better in reward} Meaning: Both the reward attached to them and the hope attached to them; for their possessor hopes for the reward of Allah in this world, and attains it in the Hereafter.

{And the Day We shall set the mountains in motion, and you will see the earth leveled, and We will gather them, not leaving behind any one of them. And they will be presented to your Lord in rows, [and it will be said], "You have certainly come to Us just as We created you the first time. But you claimed that We would never make an appointment for you."}
