ﲐ ﲑ ﲒ ﲓ ﲔ ﲕ ﲖ ﲗ ﲘ ﲙ ﲚ ﲛ ﲜ ﲝ ﲞ ﲟ ﲠ ﲡ ﲢ ﲣ
Indeed, those who conceal what We sent down of clear proofs and guidance after We made it clear for the people in the Scripture - those are cursed by Allah and cursed by those who curse,
Tafsir
Verse range: 2:159
{Indeed, those who conceal} From the Jewish rabbis.
{what We have sent down} In the Torah.
{of the clear proofs} Of the signs testifying to the affair of Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace.
{and the guidance} And the guidance by describing him, [calling] to follow him and believe in him.
{after We had made it clear} And summarized it.
{to the people in the Scripture} In the Torah; We did not leave in it any place of ambiguity or confusion for any of them. Yet, they deliberately went to that which was made clear and summarized, concealed it, and confused the people regarding it.
{those—God will curse them, and the cursers will curse them} Those from whom cursing is possible, namely the angels and the believers among the two species (jinn and mankind).
{Except for those who repent, correct themselves, and make manifest—those I will accept their repentance, and I am the Accepting of Repentance, the Merciful.}
