ﲫ ﲬ ﲭ ﲮ ﲯ ﲰ ﲱ ﲲ ﲳ ﲴ ﲵ ﲶ ﲷ ﲸ ﲹ ﲺ ﲻ
Those who spend their wealth [in Allah 's way] by night and by day, secretly and publicly - they will have their reward with their Lord. And no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve.
ﲫ ﲬ ﲭ ﲮ ﲯ ﲰ ﲱ ﲲ ﲳ ﲴ ﲵ ﲶ ﲷ ﲸ ﲹ ﲺ ﲻ

Tafsir
Verse range: 2:274
"By night and by day, secretly and openly."
They encompass all times and circumstances with charity due to their eagerness for goodness. Whenever a need arose for a needy person, they hastened to fulfill it, neither delaying it nor making excuses based on time or circumstance.
It is said that it was revealed regarding Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) when he gave forty thousand dinars in charity: ten by night, ten by day, ten in secret, and ten openly.
It is narrated from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that it was revealed regarding Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), who possessed only four dirhams; he gave one in charity by night, one by day, one in secret, and one openly.
It is also said that it was revealed regarding the fodder for horses and keeping them for the sake of Allah. Whenever Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) would pass by a well-fed horse, he would recite this verse.
