Tafsir
Verse range: 22:68
"And if they dispute with you, then say..."
Meaning: If, due to their stubbornness, they refuse anything but disputation—even after your best efforts to ensure there is no conflict between you and them—then repel them by stating that Allah is most knowing of your deeds, their ugliness, and the recompense you deserve for them; He will surely recompense you for them. This is a threat and a warning, yet it is delivered with gentleness and softness.
"Allah will judge between you on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which you used to differ. Do you not know that Allah knows what is in the heaven and the earth? Indeed, that is in a Record. Indeed, that, for Allah, is easy."
