Regarding the six pleas
Ibn Abbas narrated that they have six pleas:
1. Upon entering the Fire, they say for a thousand years: **"Our Lord, we have seen and heard"** (32:12). They are answered: **"The word from Me has been fulfilled"** (32:13).
2. They call out for a thousand years: **"Our Lord, You have made us die twice"** (40:11). They are answered: **"That is because, when God was called upon alone, you disbelieved"** (40:12).
3. They call out for a thousand years: **"And they will call, 'O Malik, let your Lord put an end to us!'"** (43:77). They are answered: **"Indeed, you will remain"** (43:77).
4. They call out for a thousand years: **"Our Lord, delay us"** (14:44). They are answered: **"Had you not sworn before..."** (14:44).
5. They call out for a thousand years: **"Our Lord, bring us out; we will do righteousness"** (35:37). They are answered: **"Did We not grant you life enough...?"** (35:37).
6. They call out: **"My Lord, send me back"** (23:99). They are answered: **"Be driven away therein"** (23:108).
