Al-Furqān: (30) *And the Messenger said, "O..."*

The Messenger: Muhammad (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), and his people are the Quraysh. Allah recounts his complaint against his people to Him.

In this account, there is an intensification of the grievance and a warning to his people; for when the prophets would turn to Him and complain about their people, the punishment would descend upon them, and they would be granted no respite.

{And thus have We made for every prophet an enemy from among the criminals, but sufficient is your Lord as a Guide and a Helper.}
