"The people of Lot denied..."

By "the worlds" (al-‘alamin), He means: mankind. That is: Do you come—out of all the children of Adam, despite their vast numbers, the diversity of their kinds, and the fact that females outnumber males—to the males? As if females have become scarce for you.

Or, does it mean: Do you, out of all the worlds, come to the males? Meaning: You, the people of Lot, are uniquely singled out for this indecency. According to this interpretation, "the worlds" refers to all creatures that can be engaged in sexual intercourse.

{From your spouses} This may serve as an explanation (tabyin) for what He created, or it may denote partitivity (tab‘id). By "what He created," it is meant: the permissible organ of theirs. In the reading of Ibn Mas‘ud, it is: "What your Lord has made lawful for you from your spouses." It is as if they were doing the same [indecent act] with their wives.

{The transgressors} (al-‘adun) The one who transgresses (al-‘adi) is the one who exceeds the limits in his oppression and oversteps the bounds. Its meaning is: Do you commit this sin, despite its enormity? Rather, you are a people who transgress in all sins, and this [act] is merely a part of that whole. Or, it means: You are a people truly deserving to be described as transgressors, since you have committed such a grave offense.

{They said: "If you do not desist, O Lot, you will surely be among those who are expelled."}
