Tafsir of Al-Qasas 28:75

{And We will extract from every nation a witness} Meaning: We will bring forth a witness from every nation, who is their prophet. This is because the prophets of the nations are witnesses over them, testifying to what they were upon.

{Then We will say} To the nation: {Bring your proof} Regarding what you were upon of polytheism and opposition to the Messenger.

{Then they will know} At that moment: {that the truth belongs to Allah} And to His Messenger, not to them or their devils.

{And will be lost from them} Meaning: It will disappear from them, like the disappearance of a lost object: {that which they used to invent} Of lies and falsehood.

{Indeed, Qārūn was from the people of Moses, but he tyrannized them. And We gave him of treasures whose keys would burden a band of strong men; when his people said to him, "Do not exult. Indeed, Allah does not like the exultant. But seek, through that which Allah has given you, the home of the Hereafter; and do not forget your share of the world. And do good as Allah has done good to you. And desire not corruption in the land. Indeed, Allah does not like corrupters."}
