Surah Al-Qasas 28:87
ﱧ ﱨ ﱩ ﱪ ﱫ ﱬ ﱭ ﱮ ﱯ ﱰ ﱱ ﱲ ﱳ ﱴ ﱵ ﱶ ﱷ ﱸ
And never let them avert you from the verses of Allah after they have been revealed to you. And invite [people] to your Lord. And never be of those who associate others with Allah.

Al-Qaṣaṣ: 87
"And let them not divert you..."
It is also read: yuṣiddunnaka (from aṣadda), meaning ṣaddaka (to divert/turn away). This is in the dialect of the Kalb tribe. A poet said:
*People diverted others with the sword away from them,* *As the diversion of water channels from the noses of the thirsty.*
"After it has been revealed to you" Meaning: after the time of its revelation. Idhā (when) is appended to nouns of time, just as you say: ḥīna-idhin (at that time), laylata-idhin (on that night), yawma-idhin (on that day), and similar expressions.
The prohibition against supporting the disbelievers and the like is a form of incitement, the mention of which has already preceded.
"And do not invoke with Allah another deity. There is no deity except Him. Everything will be destroyed except His Face. To Him belongs the judgment, and to Him you will be returned."
