Surah Al-`Ankabut 29:61

ﲝ ﲞ ﲟ ﲠ ﲡ ﲢ ﲣ ﲤ ﲥ ﲦ ﲧ ﲨ ﲩ ﲪ

If you asked them, "Who created the heavens and earth and subjected the sun and the moon?" they would surely say, "Allah." Then how are they deluded?

Al-Ankabut: (61) "And if you asked them, 'Who...'"

"And if you asked them, 'Who...'"

The pronoun in "asked them" refers to the people of Mecca.

"Then how are they deluded?"

Meaning: How are they turned away from the Oneness of God and from not associating partners with Him, despite their own admission that He is the Creator of the heavens and the earth?


"God extends provision for whom He wills of His servants and restricts it for him. Indeed, God is, of all things, Knowing."
