Al-Ankabut: 9

{Among the righteous} Meaning: among their group. Righteousness (al-ṣalāḥ) is among the most profound attributes of the believers, and it is the aspiration of the Prophets of God. God Almighty said, narrating the words of Solomon (peace be upon him): "And admit me by Your mercy into [the ranks of] Your righteous servants" (al-Naml: 19). He also said regarding Abraham (peace be upon him): "And indeed he, in the Hereafter, will be among the righteous" (al-Baqarah: 130; al-Naḥl: 122; al-ʿAnkabūt: 27).

Alternatively, it means: in the abode of the righteous, which is Paradise. This is similar to the Almighty’s saying: "And whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger - those will be with the ones upon whom Allah has bestowed favor..." (al-Nisāʾ: 69).

{And of the people are some who say, "We believe in Allah," but when they are harmed for the sake of Allah, they consider the trial of the people as the punishment of Allah. But if victory comes from your Lord, they will surely say, "Indeed, we have been with you." Is not Allah most knowing of what is in the breasts of all creatures? And Allah will surely make evident those who believed, and He will surely make evident the hypocrites.}
