Tafsir of Al Imran 3:95

"Say, 'Allah has spoken the truth.'"

This is an insinuation of their falsehood, similar to His saying: "That is how We repaid them for their transgression, and indeed, We are truthful" (Al-An'am: 146). That is: It is established that Allah is truthful in what He has revealed, and you are the liars.

"So follow the religion of Abraham, inclining toward truth."

This is the religion of Islam, which Muhammad and those who believed with him follow, so that you may rid yourselves of Judaism—which has entangled you in the corruption of your religion and your worldly life. It has compelled you to distort the Book of Allah to satisfy your own desires, and it has bound you to forbid the good things that Allah had made lawful for Abraham and those who followed him.
