Surah Ar-Rum 30:36
ﱧ ﱨ ﱩ ﱪ ﱫ ﱬ ﱭ ﱮ ﱯ ﱰ ﱱ ﱲ ﱳ ﱴ ﱵ ﱶ
And when We let the people taste mercy, they rejoice therein, but if evil afflicts them for what their hands have put forth, immediately they despair.

{And when We give the people a taste of mercy} Meaning: A blessing, such as rain, prosperity, or health.
{they rejoice in it; but if an evil befalls them} Meaning: A trial, such as drought, hardship, or illness—the cause of which is the ill-omen of their sins.
{they despair of mercy.}
{Do they not see that Allah extends provision for whom He wills and restricts [it]? Indeed, in that are signs for a people who believe.}
