Tafsir
Verse range: 30:43
"So set your face toward the religion..."
"The Inevitable" (al-qayyim): The one who is perfectly upright, in whom no crookedness can occur.
"From Allah" (min Allāh): This may be connected to "shall come" (ya'tī), meaning: before there comes from Allah a Day that no one can turn back, as in His saying: "They will not be able to turn it back" (Al-Anbiya: 40). Or, it may be connected to "turning back" (marrad), meaning: He will not turn it back once He brings it, nor is there any turning it back from His side. "Marrad" is a verbal noun meaning "the turning back" (ar-radd).
"They will be divided" (yadda'ūn): Meaning they will be separated, as in His saying: "On that Day they will be separated" (Ar-Rum: 14).
"Whoever disbelieves, upon him is his disbelief; and whoever does righteousness, they are preparing for themselves. That He may reward those who have believed and done righteous deeds out of His bounty. Indeed, He does not like the disbelievers."
