Indeed, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they used to differ.

Tafsir
Verse range: 32:23-25
{The Book} refers to the genus (the category of scripture). The pronoun in {his meeting} refers to Moses (peace be upon him). The meaning is: We gave Moses, like what We gave you of the Book, and We caused him to meet (receive) like what We caused you to meet of the revelation. Therefore, do not be in doubt that you have met the like of it and encountered its peer, similar to His saying: “So if you are in doubt about that which We have revealed to you, then ask those who read the Scripture before you” (Yunus: 94). This is similar to His saying: {of his meeting}, and His saying: “And indeed, you receive the Qur’an from One Wise and Knowing” (An-Naml: 6), and His saying: “And We will bring forth for him on the Day of Resurrection a record which he will encounter spread open” (Al-Isra: 13).
{And We made the Book} revealed to Moses (peace be upon him) {a guidance} for his people, {and We made from among them leaders who guide} the people and call them to what is in the Torah regarding the religion of Allah and His laws, because of their patience and their certainty in the signs. Likewise, We shall make the Book revealed to you a guidance and a light, and We shall make from your nation leaders who guide with a guidance like that, because they were patient in supporting the religion and remained steadfast in their certainty.
It is said: {of his meeting} refers to your meeting Moses (peace be upon him) on the Night of Ascension (Isra) or on the Day of Resurrection. It is also said: it refers to Moses (peace be upon him) meeting the Book, meaning his receiving it with contentment and acceptance.
It is recited: {lima sabaru} (for their patience) and {wa-lima sabaru} (and for their patience). Al-Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) said: They were patient regarding the worldly life. It is said: Allah made the Torah a guidance specifically for the Children of Israel, and the descendants of Ishmael (peace be upon him) were not obligated to follow what was in it.
{He will judge between them} means He will decree, distinguishing the one who is truthful in his religion from the one who is false.
{Has it not guided them, how many generations We destroyed before them, [while] they walk among their dwellings? Indeed in that are signs; then do they not hear?}
