As-Sajdah: (4) Allah who created...
If you ask: What is the meaning of His saying: {You have no protector or intercessor besides Him}?
I say: It carries two meanings:
The first: That if you exceed the bounds of His pleasure, you will find no protector for yourselves—meaning: no helper to aid you—and no intercessor to intercede for you.
The second: That Allah is your Protector who manages your interests, and your "intercessor"—meaning your helper—by way of metaphor, because an intercessor aids the one for whom they intercede. It is like His saying, the Exalted: {And you have no protector or helper besides Allah} (Al-Baqarah: 107). Thus, if He abandons you, there remains for you no protector and no helper.
{He arranges [each] matter from the heaven to the earth; then it will ascend to Him in a Day, the extent of which is a thousand years of those which you count.}
