Tafsir of Al-Ahzab 33:67

"And they will say, 'Our Lord, indeed we...'"

It is read as sādatanā (our masters) and sādātanā (our great masters). They are the leaders of disbelief who taught them disbelief and adorned it for them. It is said: "He strayed from the path" (ḍalla al-sabīl) and "He caused him to stray from it" (aḍallahu iyyāhu).

The addition of the alif [in al-sabīlā, al-rasūlā, al-sābīlā] is for the extension of the sound. The verse endings are made like the rhymes of poetry; their benefit is to indicate a pause and to signify that the speech has concluded and that what follows is a new beginning.

It is read as kathīran (greatly) to multiply the curses, and kabīran (severely) to indicate the most intense and greatest of curses.

{Double}: A double [punishment] for their own misguidance, and a double for their leading others astray. They confess, they cry for help, and they wish, but nothing of that will avail them.

{O you who have believed, be not like those who annoyed Moses; then Allah cleared him of what they said, and he was, in the sight of Allah, distinguished.}
