Surah Sad 38:28
ﱔ ﱕ ﱖ ﱗ ﱘ ﱙ ﱚ ﱛ ﱜ ﱝ ﱞ ﱟ ﱠ
Or should we treat those who believe and do righteous deeds like corrupters in the land? Or should We treat those who fear Allah like the wicked?

Tafsir
Verse range: 38:28
{Am} (Or): It is munqati‘ah (disjunctive/interruptive). The meaning of the interrogation within it is one of denial (inkar).
The intended meaning is: If recompense were null and void—as the disbelievers claim—then the states of those who did righteous deeds and those who caused corruption, and those who were God-fearing and those who were wicked, would be equal in the sight of Allah. Whoever equates them is foolish, not wise.
{A Book We have sent down to you, blessed, that they may ponder its verses, and that those of understanding may be reminded.}
