ﱸ ﱹ ﱺ ﱻ ﱼ ﱽ ﱾ ﱿ ﲀ ﲁ ﲂ ﲃ ﲄ ﲅ ﲆ ﲇ ﲈ ﲉ
They will have canopies of fire above them and below them, canopies. By that Allah threatens His servants. O My servants, then fear Me.
ﱸ ﱹ ﱺ ﱻ ﱼ ﱽ ﱾ ﱿ ﲀ ﲁ ﲂ ﲃ ﲄ ﲅ ﲆ ﲇ ﲈ ﲉ

Tafsir
Verse range: 39:16
"They shall have layers of fire above them, and layers of fire below them."
These are layers of fire that serve as canopies for others.
"With this, Allah threatens His servants."
He frightens them with this punishment so that they may avoid what would cause them to fall into it.
"Therefore, fear Me, O My servants!"
Do not expose yourselves to that which necessitates My wrath. This is an exhortation from Allah, the Exalted, and a profound piece of advice. It is also recited as: "Ya 'ibadi" (O My servants).
"And those who avoid Taghut (false deities), lest they worship them, and turn in repentance to Allah, for them are glad tidings. So give glad tidings to My servants, who listen to the word and follow the best of it. Those are the ones whom Allah has guided, and those are people of understanding."
