Surah An-Nisa' 4:152
ﲂ ﲃ ﲄ ﲅ ﲆ ﲇ ﲈ ﲉ ﲊ ﲋ ﲌ ﲍ ﲎ ﲏ ﲐ ﲑ ﲒ ﲓ
But they who believe in Allah and His messengers and do not discriminate between any of them - to those He is going to give their rewards. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.

"And those who believe in Allah..."
[Question]: How is it permissible to use the word ahad (one/anyone) between bayna (between) when ahad implies two or more?
[Response]: Ahad is a general term used for the singular masculine and feminine, as well as their dual and plural forms. You say, "I did not see ahad," intending a general negation. Do you not see that you say, "Except for the sons of so-and-so" or "Except for the daughters of so-and-so"? Therefore, the meaning is: "They did not differentiate between two of them, nor between a group." From this is His saying, the Exalted: "You are not like anyone (ahad) among women" (Al-Ahzab: 32).
"He will soon give them their rewards..."
The meaning is that the giving of these rewards is inevitable, even if it is delayed. The purpose of this phrasing is to emphasize and confirm the promise, not to imply that it is delayed.
